Guidelines

Authors submitting to Grand Asian Journal of Food and Nutrition (GAJFN) must adhere to the following:

  • Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration by another journal (or an explanation provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Authors must confirm ethical approval, where applicable, and obtain necessary consents for human/animal studies.

Submission Process

Manuscripts are submitted online at https://gajfn.com/index.php/gajfn . Register on the site, record your username and password, upload the manuscript in the required format, and note the system-generated GAJFN ID for future correspondence.

Manuscript Structure

Research Articles: Title; Authors, Affiliations, and Emails; Abstract (200–300 words); 3–6 keywords; Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results; Discussion; Conclusion; Acknowledgement; References.

Review Articles: Review articles follow the same front matter, then Introduction; Methodology (if applicable); thematic sections; Critical Analysis and Discussion; Conclusion and Future Perspectives; References.

  • References: APA or Vancouver style.
  • Charges: Currently no submission charges.

Publication Timeline

Manuscripts are processed and published on a rolling/ongoing basis (or per issue schedule, where applicable), following completion of the peer review and revision process. Authors are notified of the editorial decision after the review process is complete, and accepted manuscripts proceed to copy editing, typesetting, and publication.

Authors are expected to comply with the timeline set by the Editorial Office for submitting revisions, as delays may affect the manuscript's inclusion in the intended publication cycle.
